I assumed this would have been beat to death so I searched. Everything was fairly old.

My form one will be in shortly and I'd like to have a shorty pistol host ready. What do you have that you like? I have a target bull barrel mark 2 being threaded but wanted something small and fun.

Find an old Beretta Bobcat or Minx and send barrel to Jim Pixley at JP Grips to have adapter installed.

oooh. That little bobcat is cool, that is more along the lines of what I'm after. Just did a quick search and it looks like Beretta announced at SHOT that they will be releasing them with threaded barrels and "eventually" with suppressor height sights. Doesn't look like it happening until late in the year so I may need to do the conversion.

Really like my Walther (Interarns) PPK/S 22. Bought it used for around $200 IIRC. Barrel is already threaded - ordered an 1/2x28 adapter for about $20 bucks. Inexpensive, fun little plinker host for my Tacsol Axiom, and although I get an occasional stovepipe (usually when dirty after extended shooting) for the most part it’s been very reliable even with the cheap ammo. My Ruger 22/45 spends more time in the safe since I got it.

This right here.
One adder a few of us like an have done is interrupted threads, on the barrel an can. All you have to do is push the can down to the index mark* an turn it about 45 degrees an she is locked in/up. All the twisting motion is over with both machined that way.

* index mark is a line and a cut in the can you can feel w/o looking down or seeing at night.

Also have SW 2213, Walther TPH, Beretta 950bs and 21A, and Sig 938-22 as bug hosts; will see if I can find some more pics.
Here mine are. I ordered the barrel for the bobcat so I got the only color available but I don’t care because suppressed and ugly is so much better than no suppressor. The Ruger mark iv is accurate as hell with the red dot. It’s a dead air mask that I use.
