Does anyone know the practical length for a 6XC bbl.(7.5 twist) to push the 115 Bergers close to 3,000 fps?

I have never been able to push 115's to 3000 fps. The most I have been able to get was 2939 fps with a 25.5" bbl. That was only with a certain lot of H4350. Usually I get around 2800 - 2850 fps. I have had exceptional accuracy with velocities from 2750 on up. Barrels have been from 23.5 - 29.5". The 29.5" bbl. will not take a lot of powder, however it is a very accurate bbl.

The DTACs seem to be similar. Not sure if you will see those 3000+ fps speed out of a 6XC with the 115

26"s to 27"s should get you to 3000. I can push the 105 Amax's to 2975 out of my 22" 1/7.5tw Bartlein M2008 barrel with 37gr of RL15. (had ejc. flow @ 37.5) Haven't got around to trying the 115's, but running the numbers I should be close to 2900 with RL17.
