Now that SHOT is here (and it opens in <3 hours) I'm finally allowed to say something...I wish I was there to see it firsthand, if you're at the show, don't miss it.

American Rifle Company (Booth #2701) is unveiling 2 huge new projects that have been several years in the making:

American Rifle Company "Model 2"

PSR Type platform: multi-caliber, modular, and light!
Samples are on-hand in the booth in 6.5 Creedmoor and 338 Lapua Mag.

The "Model 5" rifle action

Remington 700 Footprint
Integral lug
Controlled round feed
Non-rotating extractor
Snap-tight rail interface
Available for gunbuilders as a custom action order now.

I was lucky enough to see these a month ago when i visited the shop. Really cool designs and a lot of engineering when into these. The lug contact design is brilliant and and different from anything else on the market.

Great news, Ted mentioned he was toying with some rifle "type" prototypes. I'm glad to hear it's come to fruition. Ted is a great guy to deal with.

I'm looking forward to seeing his work.
