Yeah, she rocked that interview for sure. I'm going to pick one of these up when they're available.

Eurooptic shows the price to be $17,200. There really is no justification for that price. No you are not getting 3 custom rifles. It's the same action with three barrels and three bolts. I could see somewhere in the $12,000 range max.

$2200 for that FDE

Re: SHOT Show 2013 Coverage

Thanks John,

didnt by chance ask if the the first gen HDMRs were able to up grade to the new 10 mil rev and zerostop knobs like the new LRS and XLRS. I have two G2dmrs that could use that. that beast is just a little out of my ballpark.

Re: SHOT Show 2013 Coverage

I would also like more information on the AI short action quick barrel change. What's the name they are calling it? I'm curious what they mean by $400-500...on top of the AX retail?

I would also like to know this. And if it will take AW barrels. The new stock I like very much and has been planning to order an AX soon. This may be worth a six month wait.

Why does Scott Sigmund from AI say in the AI video that the PSR Covert Kits (not the more expensive Deployment Kits) will be $4-5K MSRP for the Short Action, and $6-7K for the Long Action?

The current MSRP for the current (non Covert Kit) AX is $6-7K for the SA and $7-8K for the LA, and the Covert Kits are supposed to be MORE expensive.

Maybe Scott misspoke, but I wonder if anyone else caught this, and if they have any insight?

Expect that they will be a couple hundred more than a loaded AX.

Re: SHOT Show 2013 Coverage

The biggest difference in the AX308 and the Short AX PSR is the right folding stock. The barrel change portion actually appears to be a very small change to the receiver.

It does appear to accept AW/AX barrels. So if I get one in, it would be possible to just grab the .243 barrel I have sitting here and screw it onto the Short Action AX PSR.

If this is what comes out, and sometime by fall, I will have to have one. Thanks, John! This is the info I wanted.

Re: SHOT Show 2013 Coverage

Trackingpoint Rifle System?? Just take all the skill out of shooting why dont we. And who would want to lug all that around? The .338 system is heavy enough already. I dont get it. Someone explain the need please.
