SHOT Show Attire?

Steps to a successful SHOT Show:

1. Open 5.11 catalog.
2. Order one of everything.
3. Wear all to SHOT.
4. Dance like nobody is watching.

Sadly, this is extremely true.

Hi,

IF you really want to get invites to behind the scenes type goodies then let me know your size and I will send you a nice set of man-jamas.

Having worked that part of the world as well as knowing one man in that pic quite well, I can assert there is much truth to this. I'm also damn glad I'm no longer doing that bullshit and am just an overpaid fucktard railroader these days, but at the time I had to make the child support payments somehow and for some reason there just isn't much demand for aging HOGs in the States.

Oh yeah, they very much take to heart "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas".

Hi,

Along with Dubai and Qatar.......but the "playground" shift is quickly blending into Abu Dhabi which is great because I prefer Abu Dhabi than Dubai anyways.......

More firearms and defense equipment is brokered and sold during the F1 week in Abu Dhabi than Shot Show and IWA combined :)
Mega Yachts with Mega Arms....

Sincerely,
Theis

I certainly think these deserve at least a passing glance.

LOL! Got a chuckle out of this, as I'm wearing a pair of those same pants right now...but I'm at work, not SHOT Show.

Seriously, @THEIS has it right. If you're there for business, a nice suit/tie is the dress code for making/closing deals. If you're "press", or just some dude touching base with other dudes (networking), wear what you want. The closer you are to the LE/Mil show hall, the higher the percentage of beardage is present.

Just don't go dragging around one of those rolling fucking carts. Fuuuuccckkkk. Those idiots are always stopping in the middle of the aisles, clueless of the fact that they're keeping people from getting to where their next meeting is. (hint: Don't be "that guy".)

No doubt Kitanica makes high quality stuff... I have a pair of their shorts.

I just have this recurring nightmare where I'm operating operationally, have those pants loaded up with my full kit, and somehow I'm being chased by a gay guacho. ?

Thanks guys, yes I'm going on business. The OP was posted for entertainment purposes only and you guys came through in fine fettle. Surprisingly, only one mention of the word "attire", and a special thanks to those who gave serious advice.
