This posting may be a little misleading. You do not have to attend SHOT to attend this course and you don't have to be MIL/LE to attend this course. If you are in the NV, CA, UT, AZ, ID - where ever - area and are interested in this class, you are more than welcome to come. :)

Yes, too many people have accidently shot themselves using them. John doesn't want to take that chance.

Nothing more than lack of training, nothing more. People use the Serpa improperly by "pointing" the trigger finger into the release verses keeping it straight and using the pad. Properly done and the trigger finger lies/transfers right onto the frame/slide where it should be. But-it's his class and rules.

We are a little more than a month away from these two classes. Not only will you get to hangout and train with John, you might get to meet me (Ramia) too :) Not sure if that's a good selling point, but regardless, I would like to meet some of you, our customers.
