Just want to give a shout out to @Surgeon_Shooter and @Frog05 for delivering on an awesome PVS14 (and in UNDER 1 WEEK).
Specs:
UNV Vyper-14 Housing
L3 White Phosphur 11769 Tube
FOM - 2664
Halo - 0.6
SNR - 37.0
Resolution - 72lp
Gain - 64,220
There are a couple of minor specs in Zone 1, but they are small enough to not even get classified on the data sheet. One larger spec on the outside of Zone 3 (0.009"-0.012").
We had some factory L3 Harris PVS14 WP units on hand (M914A - classified as Unlimited FOM) and this tube from Sure Shot Night Vision seemed to transer slightly more light in no-light/low-light situations.
Below are some pics through the tube (using an older Samsung Galaxy 6S) in my basement, where there is very little ambient light (some slight spill through a brick wall). I captured the same photos with the onboard illuminator on and off. The gain was at max for all photos. With the illuminator off, it was still easy to navigate the basement, so don't let the photo fool you into thinking light transmission was bad (it was exceptional).
Couldn't be happier. Can't wait to get the inbound Trijicon IR300W Patrol from @wigwamitus in a few weeks to run next to this unit on my KVC bridge. Thank you to all the guys on the Hide for awesome hook ups, good friendship, and great information.
