Re: Norma tac223. Showed up today. Something I didn't think about was packaging. The boxes are very bulky. It probably takes up twice the room of 420rd ammo cans.

Transfer to 40mm grenade cans unboxed.... thousands of rounds fit in there.

IN a SHFT event, Noise will attract unwanted attention. Tactics an quietness will get you much farther than being loud, but be ready to break everything if the events call for it.

As to camo I pre fur dem hill Billy HOP pattern. Hat, Overalls, Plaid is a VERY versatile pattern, and will work anywhere but a big city.

As to rifles that can shoot 1000yds. The BEST rifle for 1000 yard SHTF shooting is one them thar Rushin Moses Nugent rifles. They cheap and rifle balls fer them things is perty cheap. You kin hit anythang wif that rifle other pass a 1000yards with nothin but arn sites, don't even need no scope!

Now thats an interesting point I hadnt considered. I put cans on everything anyway, but wonder if it would make a difference. Its always been the visual of a 'bad guy' weapon I figured was the concern but I happen to prefer the AK over most platforms for anything inside 300 yards. I am trying to warm up to the AUG but its a struggle. Food for thought. Regardless 7N6 stores amazing well, is still cheap enough and is definitely a nasty little round that women and children can handle.
