well today was an adventure in the snow, we made the best of it trying to shoot at the 450yd target in the heavy snow. thanks for coming out guys and mostly shooting the shit since the weather was not on our side. u guys are troopers.

hopefully the weather will be better on the 15th

I have been playing as of late and am not sure if I can still play the 15th.....might break up my 7mm-08 to fund the next rifle. But I would still be willing to help RSO if you would like Scott.

An FYI for a friend. He has a slightly used AICS LA stock for sale.It's May Day's. He used it once for my BSCII comp, & changed out to a Manners. I posted it in the FS area. Pics inc. for $700 (no mag)

You always learn stuff shooting in crappy conditions,

- sould have brought some close range weapons. took 2 1/3 - 3 hours to drive the 1 hour drive home. Must have took you guys forever, did they close the pass?

Took me about an extra hour, radio said they were going to close the pass sometime between 8-10pm, we left the resturant about 6:30 best I recall.I think Scott and Adam were close behind me so I assume they made it thru ok, didn't get a call to the contrary.

very nice i even have the same scope bushnell 10x mil/mil. looks alittle shiny but riding around in the truck will fix that. mine has killed at least 100 pigeons in the last year with rem subsonics.

Ok had a meeting for the 2011 Findlay cup.
It will be a team event again. We will start shooting late afternoon on Saturday 3-26-11 and shoot the night stages that night. We will then move onto the precision long range shooting Sunday am 3-27-11. First prize to the top team $1000.00, second team gets $500.00, third team gets $200.00 ( these are per team, NOT per team member!!) Entry fee will be $75.00 per team member.
I will have sign up sheets to down load asap. We will be limiting this to 20 teams and expect to fill up fast.
More details to follow.

Man can't wait to see tribe running the robinson arms again this year. that alone is worth the price of admission. plus the dinner after ther match is top notch.

Note to self don't forget to have an illuminated reticle this year. second note practice more on carbine and do much better load development for the carbine.

A well made Grendel is an excellent choice, diggler44! If the wind is really kicking bad the other folks are going to be very hard pressed to keep up with you. Best of luck my friend!

If you're thinkin' a Grendel, you might look into that Les Baer ".264 LBC-AR",... same brass, n' ammo but without extended throat leade of the Grendel. From what I hear, these are pretty slick. I like my Grendel(s), but my next barrel is gonna be one of these,... just a thought
