We had the 1'st Central WA monthly match. Weather didn't look to good, but as the morning wore on it cleared enough to see 440 or so. And we had 6 shooters, so with these two things we improvised our COF with the long shots to 440 yards.
Went well and were able to iron out some bugs as well.
We might through in some hand gun in the future for the fun factor, we'll see how it might effect scoring, then go from there.
1-6: Jesse, Monte', Jim, Magnum (aka Mark), Mike, Alan.
OH and good luck bringing a magnum to any of these, if you thought you didn't like me now, just wait till you show up with a magnum and try to smash my steel.

About 1/2 of the shots were steel (25 or so).

For the abbreviated COF that this was, we had 18 shots on steel. Thanks to all that came out to play.

As much as it may surprise some of you hearing a compliment from me, I have to say there was some good shooting by all today. Maybe not all the time...but everyone had some moments where they were pretty dialed in. Good shooting guys!

Nah, not hungover. Anyone that really knows me knows better than to take any of my ribbing seriously. You guys should hear it when JTP and I are out shooting! Truth be told, he's one of the best dudes out there behind a rifle and he knows I respect him even though we constantly give each other shit!

Outstanding work Scott on the registration form! The box for caliber choice only gives us .308 or other, no option to fill in a caliber.

for the Record i have to give the credit/thanks to the registration to JLR he sent he his form idea and i just modified it alittle. don't worry about the 308 or other catagory that was mostly out of curiosity and there will be an award for top 308 shooter.

You are correct after pearl and hanny sign up we will officially be full, but i will leave the signup going so that there is a order on the waiting list.

It means alot to me that you guys really enjoy my courses of fire. You continue to demonstrate it by showing up for my matches, i really wish i had time to put more of them on.

Just so you guys no my matches are and will continue to be about shooters enjoyment of the cof. I just don't have the time to really search out sponsors for our matches, I put most of my time/energy into the props and cof. My focus it to have reasonable priced matches that every shooter will enjoy, and yet be challenging enough that everybody will learn something about there particular skill set every time they come out. I am and always will be open to suggestions on how to improve things.

please don't send it now because i am working on an online registration form that is almost ready for the public. I am actually going to open it up to 40 shooters and i think you are right on the 8 day delay that is way to long. so i will give the shww 2 days to register early and then it will be open to the general community. </div></div>

There's no way we're letting anyone else in your matches, That or you have to set a 12 hour exclusive sign up for SHWW...Nah we'd still fill it up

I think I can safely speak for most of the guys I've shot with...

It's not the prize table that keeps us showing up... The opportunity to shoot the match.... The challenge of the cof.... The competition amongst peers... And above all, the comradery.... ARE the prizes!

Whether it be you, or Jim, or Carl, I know this whole prize table thing creates a great deal of heartburn.... Guys.... Please don't sweat it. If a guy needs a crack at some free shit in order to come out and shoot, Ive got no doubt, that there are several other SHOOTERS, chomping at the bit, to take his spot...

Sorry for the small rant... I just feel so grateful that you guys go to all of the effort to even put these things together, that it just frustrates me to see y'all stress over the stuff on the table....

I think the speed at which these quiet local matches are filling up, is a strong indicator on how concerned we all are about the prize table...

Way to go Group!
