My friend bought a 50 round box of 300 blk. 5 of those rounds in the box were 223.

He asked for them to send a new box of 300 blk (not really unreasonable in this situation).

They offered to give him a 5 dollar discount on a future order. They then offer to credit him $3.60 and let him keep the 556 (that's fair in my opinion).

But in their response they basically said what they did was perfectly acceptable and not dangerous, and called him stupid in the process.

Just not a good experience and I would personally steer clear of these guys. Sample size of 1, take it or leave it.

I've had good experiences with them but have just ordered brass so far. It was nicer than expected and had fast shipping. I do agree that the ammo mixup is concerning since I can see someone shooting 5.56 in a 300bo chamber.

Do you have the full email exchange? I see in their response they asked that the full exchange be included in any social media posts and it’d be interesting to see what the whole thing was.

Pretty shoddy packaging QC, to me.

Given the whole 300BK v. .223 thing I would like to think they would package the ammo more carefully.

We all know not "everyone" would notice while loading mags.ammo

Great example of watch your re-manufactured ammo.

I have all the emails and it makes them look even worse. I gave a synopsis of the previous emails in my OP. The emails that followed showed they gave him a $3.60 refund and then they sent him links to SAAMI specs and were totally condescending.

Like I said take it, or leave it, and check your ammo, people!

A friend ordered some re-man 168gr SMK .308 from them. I was considering buying some as well since the price was pretty good under current conditions. However I was put off when I googled them and found lots of complaints. Though the complaints were a bit old and I thought they might have improved and almost still bit.

I held off to see what my friend's order was like and the ammo he got was under powered. They did pay for him to return what he hadn't shot and then sent a replacement case. Though they didn't have 168gr in stock so he got 175gr instead.

HAHAHAHA yeah not gonna happen. I agree that their emails were unprofessional but your buddy should just take the credited amount which is a fair deal.
