SIAP: Federal Video On Reloading The New Peak Alloy Steel Cases

Hmmm???

Steel can withstand more pressure than brass.

Steel work hardens faster the brass.

Steel can be annealed to mitigate the work hardening for getting cases to last longer.

Steel doesn't conduct heat as fast as brass and will take higher temperatures and/or more time to do the softening ("annealing") of it than it does for brass.

Reloading steel cases is going to take some adjusting for the annealing approach, being it's so different from brass.

And I wonder how the Nickel plating of steel stands up to resizing compared to Nickel plated brass???

The thing is, steel cases aren’t a novel thing…did no one else think of doing whatever particular nickel alloy blend federal came up with?
