I just fondled one of these at Cabelas and was completely NOT impressed. I have a Sig 1911 which I find to be a VERY, VERY fine pistol, but the 22 just screamed cheap to me. The slide is cast, the barrel is covered with plastic, the trigger was creepy and crappy. The only good thing I can say about it is the "click" of the safety felt good and the feel of the pistol in the hand felt like a 1911.

Anyone else handle one? What did you think?

For $375 street price, your not getting a Bob Marvel built pistol.
They are actually built by German Sporting Guns.
Sig bought the rights to them and rebranded them.

I bought one a few weeks ago. Took a few hours and did a trigger job, took the mag disconnect out, cleaned the firing pin up(stamped tool steel), recrowned the barrel. I'm happy with it.
It cycles subsonic(wolf) match ammo and easily holds 1" at 25yds. It's not 100% reliable with the Wolf yet, but its getting there. Minimags are 100% GTG.

If you want a high end 1911 22, call Nighthawk and get in line for the new unit they are working on or one of the other better known 1911 22's units.

does it have a recessed threaded barrel ?

Yep, factory threaded with proctector. I just got a thread adaptor from silencerco. Can will be ordered hopefully this week.

I bought one about a month ago. Got an adapter from gemtech. I have only put about 500rds. through it suppressed. Shot cci subs. and standard vel. with zero malfunctions.

Had a Nighthawk unit on order since late April. Canxed today. They had begun receiving last week, but sent them back to Marvel. Rumor has it a slide cracked.

I own one and it's fun to shoot and I haven't had any ftf or fte I like it accuracy is the only thing I would want to improve
