Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig has now delivered over 100,000 m17/m18 pistols to MIL

I have no doubt your bias against the 320 is rooted in emotion, and not in anything objective or credible. But I also know the mountain of evidence proving you wrong won't change your mind.

Only emotional person here is you. Its obvious you like them because you cant shoot a glock worth a shit and the 320 is forgiving to amateur pistol shooters with sloppy technique.
If you want hard facts then you can request it through FOIA . Fact is it was never the best pistol in any category except price and Army contracting officers knew it. But at a 183 bucks a pop its was over a hundred bucks cheaper than glock which actually proved superior in reliability and endurance in the testings but a certain contracting officer feels a hundred bucks a pop trumps all else.
The last good Sig pistol was the German made 226 and anyone who pays full price for a 320 is a fool.

Just throwing this out there. As part of lot testing with the m17/m18 Uncle Sam puts 12k rounds through the gun. Each time they have done the test the gun has gone the entire 12k rounds without a stoppage. That’s both the m17 and m18. 12000 rounds. With 3 0’s. Something tells me that a gun that can’t shoot a mag without a malfunction sounds like an iD T 10 error or a gun that needs to go back to sig.

Look man, I’m not emotionally invested in any pistol. I’m first & foremost a 1911 fan. I like Glocks for LE/MIL pistols because they’re as reliable as the taxman & they’re as accurate as the shooter holding the pistol. I like the Glocks for these reasons. The ergos work for me as well, but that is far less important than the pistol’s ability to run & run unimpeded by dirt, carbon, debris, etc.

I don’t like the Sig pistols for the reasons I’ve stated in earlier posts. I gave a synopsis of my experiences w/ it after having shot it & observed it in the hands of others. I have no use for it. Period.

My advice to you is go the range & rock your pistol. I wish you luck w/ it. I’m not bashing your pistol. My experience is worth what you’ve paid for it.

The amount of time and money that went into this and for the Sig to be the outcome, especially when directly comparing it to the M9, M9A3 and Glock19x, just make me give off a massive sigh anytime I think about it.

I'm pretty sure they listened to absolutely no one when deciding on this.

And this is coming from someone who has actually used their sidearm, unlike 97% of the people who will be issued one.

You have a link to any of the results of the tests from a FOIA request? I haven’t actually seen the test results between all the submitted guns after

I’ve shot 3 courses with a 320 carry and also have a bunch of range time with the pistol. I do not recall a jam. Also have some but not nearly as much time with the x5. No jams with that either. These are both 2017 guns pre recall.
