Looking to pick up a used Sig 8K.
It has the older magnetic style case.
I know it’s not the end of the world, but it’s my understanding that that the magnetic in the case effects the compass.
I’d like for all the of the features of my $1000+ range finder to work.
Can anyone speak to this? How big of an issue is it. Seems big enough for Sig to start shipping with a different case.
I called Sig to see if I could get the newer style case and they were 0.0% help.
Anyone tracked down the newer style case?
I’m guessing I’m making too big a deal about something so small? I can’t help it. It’s a character flaw.
