Sig kilo BDX vs MR

Even if you don't plan on pairing it with a Sig BDX scope you can still use the BDX rangefinders to give you ballistic data through the Applied Ballistics Ultralight engine. I've compared it to the data for my SPR and 6.5 Creedmoor and without much tuning it's within .2 mils out to the 800 yard limit of the software. It doesn't mesh perfectly with my Kestrel but it will get me a hit at most ranges.

So would there be any difference between a bdx and mr if they were paired with a kestrel elite link with AB? I’m not thinking there would be but don’t want to screw my self either...
