This weekend I spent some time trying to get these two to communicate effectively.
What I have Sig Sauer range finding Binocular Kilo3000 BDX updated firmware and app on phone
Garmin Delta Tactix Solar with phone/app

    Some things I found:

    • The rangefinder can communicate with the Garmin Watch only when the watch is on the Applied Ballistics Connect a device screen
    • The watch button lock will halt the data transfer
    • I can't view ballistic data on the watch AB screen (AB main screen, target card nor range card)
I know it is connecting because the data is displayed in the Binocular, which would be OK if the button lock didn't kill the transfer.

Anyone else get this working correctly and am I missing something?

I know this is an older thread but I am working with this now. I have AB main screen displaying a range. I just let the binocs go to sleep. 30 sec default. repeated with success. I have newest firmware on both devices. I am in ABX mode on binocs. I also get an entry into a target card so far however by selecting the card and ranging, however it doesnt change it in the target card or range card, only when on main screen or editing the TARGET. So far I observe it working on main screen as if it were doing 'quick edit' on range. Quitting the AB app/returning to watch face does seem to disconnect the sensor "applied ballistics" after some measure of time requiring me to reconnect and then i can open AB again and witness ranging on the 'quick screen'. Since this is a 6 month old thread and i know at least new watch firmware is out its worth a try.
Note I had way better luck trying to autodetect the sensor then telling it to find an applied ballistics, no idea why.

Ive had these things like 15 minutes so thats all I know hope it helps.

There is a issue where the BT link doesn't work correctly if you start the AB app through the controls menu (the circular menu that you get to by holding down the upper left button on the watch). If you start the AB app by clicking the top right button and selecting the AB activity it works properly.

You are correct that the Sig rangefinders need to be in AB External mode to work.

A couple other notes from your comments above.
Range Card: This will not change when ranging a target. The range card is a static list with user specified increments.
Target Card / Target: Target Card is a read only view of the Targets you create using the Target menu item. In the Target menu, scroll to the Target you want to change, Set it as Current in the menu (last item, you can scroll up to get to it immediately) then range the target. Scroll to the next Target in the list and repeat to quickly populate your Target Card. Once done, you can go to the Target Card menu and see all the targets you setup in a convenient view.

OK thanks. When I am on quick edit screen I have observed the SIGs deliver the range to the watch. Is there a timeout for that even if i leave the AB app on the watch running? IE should I only count on using the target card/target to enter ranges?

If you open the AB app as described above there is no timeout. You can continue to stay on the main page and range targets.
