I was just curious if anyone else has recieved as poor of customer service as i just recently have encountered from sig sauer. I sent my p226 to sig to have the barrel removed ( it is bulged and has siezed my slide locking my weapon up solid) and after contacting me saying that all that was damaged was the barrel and they could in fact remove it i requested they perform the removal and ship my weapon back to me. I recieved my weapon back approximately a week later in the same condition as it was when i shipped it to them!? What gives here when i contacted them about the problem they admitted it must have been an error on their part but insist that i must pay aditional shipping ($55) plus the cost of removal ($60) after already paying to ship it once. Is it just me or should they pay for the second shipping cost since it was an error on their part?

Thanks growing up around sig due to my family being full of military and leos i couldnt quite understand why they would not own up to their mistake but hopefully they will rectify the situation

I had a 239 that broke only after firing 4 rounds. Hammer wouldn't stay back. I called to send it in and got the runaround by their Law Enforcement customer service division. Voice mail. never would return calls etc. I finally called the regular customer service and they took care of me in short order. Turn around was quick. But the LE customer service was horrible.

Dealt with them once on a P238 missing parts in new gun kit. They were very helpful and received part later in the week. It was the retention screw in the holster for the P238, they sent a new holster instead of just the screw.
