New to the forum. I currently own the Viper PST G2 3-15 and found a deal on the above Tango6. Anyone have any comparison between the two? Is the tango6 far more superior? Looking to buy another Viper PST G2 either 3-15 or 5-25 or the SIG, going on a gas gun I hunt with and plink with. I’m looking to stay around that 1k price point. I know there are far more superior scopes but interested in these two. I looked(not in person)at the Athlon Ares ETR also.

The Tango 6 line is more closely comparable to the Vortex Razor line as opposed to the PST line. If price is approximately the same I would go with the Sig.
If it’s meant to compare against the razor why are they so much cheaper? Is their quality control hit or miss or just haven’t caught on in the market so they are trying to buy market share?
It is a LOW made optic. I think the Razor is also LOW. Both are excellent. Buy either with confidence.
I think the prices are low (no pun intended) because they are on closeout from what my LGS had them marked at for black friday.
Aside from Black Friday, You don’t think they are going to pull out of the scope market do you? They can’t be doing to well if they are marking them down 40-50%.
No, I can't see that happening. They are probably going to expand the BDX line. That's just my guess. I have no direct knowledge of their plans but it would make sense that they move in that direction. Sounds like you got a great deal on the Sig. I looked at one yesterday but I don't recall the exact price. I think it was only 20% off, sounds like you did much better than that.
Got it from optics planet, they also have an extra 10% off store wide right now.
That's a good price for that reticle.
