Rifle Scopes Sighting a Primary Arms 4-14x44 in 50 yard range

I'm wondering how i should sight in a Primary Arms 4-14x44 Orion Reticle in an indoor 50 yard range. Do I sight using the bottom of the ACSS chevron (200 yards)? The scope is mounted on a POF p-308 Edge rifle.

This scope? https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-orion-4-14x44mm-riflescope-acss-orion

They show how they mark the actual mil scale in the reticle. They show the tip top of the chevron as 0 mils.

But then right next to it is this

I would take that to mean that the tip top point is where you would want to zero at 100 yards so that the bottom of the chevron can account for the little amount of drop at 200 as sort of half-assedly indicated in that graphic.

Based on a general trajectory (your actual rifles behavior and set up can change this a fair amount but not a super appreciable amount from 50-200) I would then say that if if the scope is intended to have the 100 yards zero be the point and you were to be forced to zero at 50 you would want to use the middle-lower half of the chevron for your 50yd zero to try and get the BDC to line up as intended.

Thank you both. I'm using PMC 147 gr. FMJ for now. I believe I was just over thinking the Primary Arms reticle and being limited to a 50 yard indoor range.

Run a ballistics calculator with the inches of drop on, set for a 100yd zero with your correct sight height.
Make a mark on your target above or below your point of aim that coincides to where your bullets path should be at 50yds and use that to zero.
