Hey guys, im new on this forum but i am in need of advice. I recently purchased a Remington 700 sps .308, i have a bushnell scope on it, a harris bipod and am shooting 150 gr. remington core lokt ammo. Im having a problem sighting it in, it will shoot dead on cold bore then it tends to rise from there. I also have a problem with the scope sliding, any advice for the remington? I know alot of you guys shoot them so I figure there will be lots of useful info on here

Ahhh, grasshopper, so much to learn.

Well, first thing is to stop the scope 'sliding'. Something is loose, go tighten it! This will affect bullet impact. Then shoot it again and see what you get.
The rising could also be due to the barrel heating up. How long do you wait between shots? How much does POI change?

(POI= Point of Impact, ie, where the bullet hits the target.)
