Signing up for my first PRS match. Is Vortex Fury HD 5000 suitable as spotter for PRS match out to 1000? Thanks!

it should do fine, i've had one for a few years, and have ranged our to 1400 with mine and it's older.

I’ve shot hundreds of match days with a Fury 5000. It’s nice to have an onboard rangefinder. Is it $4000 glass? No. Are you responsible for being the squad spotter all day? Also no. It will work fine for your first match. And your 40th match.
