Sidearms & Scatterguns Sigs !

German Sigs have no Swiss made parts. The only Sigs made in Switzerland were the early 220, 225 (P6) and early 210's and will be marked Montage Suisse instead of Made in Germany. The Sig Pro frame was manufactured in Switzerland for a short period of time. I own W. German, German and Hybrids where either the frame or slide was manufactured in Germany. All have been equally reliable. I'm speaking about the classic P Series pistols. The only Sigs I see bringing a premium are "as new in box" W German/German 228's, P 210's and some variants of the Master Shop X series pistols. The only reason the P Series is made entirely in the US currently is because the German government has barred Sig from exporting anything to the US. They were caught funneling guns through the United States into countries restricted by the German government.

Having tried for several years to love Glocks, I am now a huge fan of Sig's Tupperware. I've owned a few sigs over the years, but am now a fan of the 320 series and the 365. For those that learned on M9s and 1911s, the grip angle is much more natural.

All my Glocks are now for sale.

All that said, when Sig shits the bed, they do so in spectacular fashion.

I readily admit that my preference for other pistols over the Sig pistols is purely a matter of personal preference. Sig pistols are plenty reliable, accurate, and durable. I wish more people would admit to having simple personal preference, rather than coming up with all manner of odd reasons why their pistol is better, and someone else's is a bad choice.
