I’m trying to figure out the thread specs for the front cap of a SiCo Omega, i.e. the front “flat” cap or anchor brake.
Trying to convince myself it’s not M36x1, despite conflicting info on the internet.
@HansohnBrothers says 1.40x24, but that doesn’t make sense to me because the physical major diameter is 1.4125” and the physical minor diameter on the female portion of the suppressor is 1.376”. Another company that sells solvent trap kits says 1 27/64x24, which seems closer, but that would put the major diameter at 1.422”
I don’t have a set of pitch gages at the moment, but crude measurement taken with a caliper keep putting me at a finer pitch than 24 tpi.
Any thoughts???
