Suppressors Silencerco Omega vs Thunderbeast

I've never had an issue either. I'm having a bit of difficulty understanding how it would carbon weld. The carbon would have to get past the o-ring and the taper to get to the threads. The only way I can see that happening is if the brake was not on tight or if the taper angle was off on one of the parts. When you tap the brake against the taper to lock it, it should block anything from going through.

I think you should get a dedicated 6.5 TB can if you already have the SiCo Omega. Coming from someone with an omega. On the durability side of things. My friend didn't screw my omega on all the way I got a blast baffle strike that launched the can like 30ft downrange, small chip in the blast baffle and it still sounds the same to me. So thats a win. Not sure how the TB would hold up.

Well, I've had my A419 brake get "carbon locked" without ever having fired it. That taper makes a VERY persistent fit. I had to convince it lightly with a plastic mallet that it was time to come off. That was hand tight, as well. The nice thing is, it shouldn't ever rotate or come loose while shooting it!
