About a week ago, i don't think there was a day of the week i didn't call and kill a dog or "two" a day... now, once again the weather warmed up, its been about 50 degrees and i've made about 10 sets the past two days and had literally nothing respond... so... i resorted to another method we like to use, i spotted this big white South Dakota dog about 1/2 mile from a prairie dog town, knowing the characteristics of the dogs here, i passed him up, hid the truck, and stalked to a fence line and waited... no longer than a minute went by and he popped over the hill, i had the HD camera up and my "suppressed" rifle on standby... he held up on a point about 315yds away, i was steady and ready, holding 3.5 minutes and ready to put him in the dirt, when he heard some other dogs in the distance making their presence known, and he joined right in!!!

by passing up the 300 + yard shot, i got some really great HD video footage of some more dominant male vocals, barking away!!! i held my position for about 45 minutes and he worked his way down to the pdog town, right where i was waiting...

    as always fellas ENJOY!!!

Nice pics and story. I just stepped outside, and the coyotes are ki-yi-ing all around, and of course the the neighborhood dogs are in an uproar. I may try calling one in, as it's almost a full moon, and with a little snow on the ground, fairly visible. (don't worry...I'm out in the country

Nice outfit you got there and great write up! I always thought it was neat when I had a chance to watch and learn before i dropped the hammer.

The suppressed .45 Tactical or the suppressed G34 will see blood long before you see a shotty in the field.

    Nice....

weather's been warmer than shit here lately too! Snow is gone, weather is hot, and not a dog in sight. Unfortunately, we have no dog towns to set up on. I need to re group....

    Great job and great pics.
