Rabbits are not known to handle stress well. I had one die because something (most likely yote, but might have been dog) tried to get to it through the wire in the bottom of the hutch. Double layer of taut wire with space between layers; couldn't have put a tooth on him, but seemed it was too much to handle for the rabbit.
