Night Vision Simrad KN 203 mounting............

So, am I seeing this correctly............do the Simrads just mount on a Picatinny style rail section that is integrated on the top of the forward receiver day scope ring? I found a place that is advertising like new Simrad KN203's for $1500 and might be taking the plunge for a second, loaner unit ( for shooting buddies to have a unit when we night hunt ).

the simrad rail is not the same as a picatinny. the spuhr version will screw onto the top of thier rings and unimount, but not the badger, it is integrated into the top half of the ring.

Depending on what size scope you have I may have a mount, it’s used but just has surface wear.

I had a simrad that fit the BO but not the spuhr

Yes as said they are made for the badger ordnance simrad mount, spur also make a mount for there rings.

Does anyone here know anyone who can service the KN203 FAB? I cannot find anyone who can. Thanks in advance.
