I followed my friend Jeremy Tye through the April Sin City Precision match from start to finish with multiple cameras. The finished video has stage diagrams/descriptions,target cam and an AAR interview on lessons learned on each stage. The idea behind this video is to give new shooters or people interested in the precision rifle sport a look at what an average club match is like.

Jeremy's rifle is made by DMR LLC, uses a Vortex Optics Razor II, XLR Industries chassis, Trigger Tech trigger, APA Little Bastard II and Knight's Armament Company bipod. DMR is ran by Dane Miller here in Las Vegas and has a couple other experienced shooters involved as well. A lot of local guys have started using his guns. One of the really popular builds is using the XLR Element chassis and either a trued 700 or Tikka action. They have also been building a lot of light weight carbon builds lately. I'm pumped to have a good smith with a background in the sport right in town. They will be spinning up a barrel for an AI AT for me soon. If you are looking for work check out the guys at DMR.

Amazing video. Thank you for not only going through your thoughts during but post shooting. What to adjust for. This will make other shoots so much better including me.

Nicely done. So many of us have been, are, or will be in that same situation at matches and it is incredible helpful to see other experiences and learn from them. My son and I are shooting our first matches next month and are trying to take in as much as we can. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I shot and edited the video. My friend Jeremy is the shooter and a member here as well. He has a lot of USPSA match experience and is a very good pistol shooter. He's not crazy about being in front of a camera but I think he did a great job with the AAR. The mental game and positional shooting is a huge part of the game and I think he gets thats across very well.

Hey guys, I was the shooter in the video. Big shout out to my buddy Justin for the freaking fantastic video and editing work. He has been working on this pretty much non-stop for the last week. Any questions feel free to throw them out and either he or I will do our best to get them answered.

Thanks for for the positive feedback!

That video was fantastic. And as another relative newbie to the PRS type games, I can completely relate to many of those same issues you encountered. Getting truly comfortable in positional shooting is a big hurdle as is simply managing stages - knowing how to set up on each stage to get the most solid shooting platform, how to handle any gear you have, changing mags, deciding what and when to dial - can be a lot to process for newbs like me!

Yes, thank you for sharing. Rookie here and I am new to LR shooting. This is something I want to do in the future and learn from it. I'm in San Diego, California with only 300yds max range...wish we have something like this or similar course.
