F T/R Competition Sinclair F Class bipod

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

Spoke to Holly at Sinclair yesterday. They have pushed back the time another 4-6 weeks. Looks like we are going to be well into December at the earliest.

I couldn't agree more. I actually picked up a "back-up" CS from John while at the Lodi Nationals this year.

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

Is it just me... or has anyone else noticed that the 'old' Sinclair Int'l didn't seem to have these problems with bringing products to market? Their prices were sometimes not the cheapest, but they *always* had things in stock or else had 'em on the way. This 'coming real soon now' B.S. for the last what, year and a half or more, is damaging their image in my mind at least. Especially when they put out a flyer in August saying 'Order Now!', and when I call to order, they didn't even have a product number to order. They called me as soon as they *did* have a product number, with a projected ship date of early October. Now... well who knows when/if the thing will ever ship. After that last computer screw-up, I'm half wondering if they lost the pre-order list - it would be about par for the course. I'm also starting to wonder if I care if I ever get the damn thing at this point...

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

Guys I've been talking the the guy at www.308precision.co.uk and he's got bipods going out to a team he's sponsoring in America (louisiana) I've had a great run this year with one of there bipods, winning the Irsh Open and a few other things this year! If your wanting a bipod to hold your rifle down like a rock, I've got nothing but good to say!

If your wanting a bipod so you can wait on a release dating (hopefully) etc etc its not the one for you!

£260.00 is equivalent to 416 United States dollars

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

Yes I know its not cheap, but I can get my hands on one, and there is no P&P as thats all in the price, so thats a wee bit less. I've got a $5000K rifle I want the best bipod I can get and $150 wont make a big difference at this stage. But everyone has there own idea and thats cool! :)

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

Think I ordered in mid September... called a couple days ago and the gal estimated I'm still at least a couple weeks out.

Guess they figured they better get at least *some* trickling out rather than waiting til they had *all* the back-orders ready to ship...

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

9/6/11 and emailed them once a week inquiring about release.
Plus I whined a little about not available in time for last of the 2011 match season.
So it was about 60 days give or take a few.

I think they probably ran into some production snags and the finish work on it is not as good as version 1.

Your rifle looks great. How did you pick out that cool color?

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

To let you folks know, I'm working with a machinist on several products, including a bipod. Once I have a working prototype in hand that meets my demands, I'll let you know. As a side, we are working on alumimum jags (coming off the line today) and a really neat rifle action.

Re: Sinclair F Class bipod

WOW! Sinclair has the new F-Class bipod with Quick-Adjust elevation on its web site as "in stock". So, I bit and ordered one, we'll see if it shows up. I'll let you know.
