Are these even a thing for AICS mags? I know it's more of a NRA HiPower piece of gear. I'm single feeding a particular load and wanted to cover my bases. Figured it would be an easy 3D print job.

SSLB, Single Shot Loading Block for Short action 223/308 size rifles. Also available for 300 WM and CIP Setups.
Use this in place of a Magazine, and single feed rounds without headache, works great for
testing long loads or just plinking at the range.
Yeah, if just laying one top of the feed lips its pointed downwards with the cases body taper and crashes into the breech face. It’s not hard to start the tip into the chamber first though after a few tries, doesn’t take long to learn it.Do AICS mags in a Badger DBM normally need a Single-shot Sled? When shooting F-class my Rem 700 feeds fine with a single round laying on top of the AICS mag/ follower. I guess if I wasn't careful the round could go sideways or roll out.

What are you shootingThat's how mine does, crashes into breach face. I gnarled up the first Hornady A-Tip I shot doing that.
6.5 creedmoor in MPA/Curtis Axiom rifle. I've got a post in the reloading section about the whole thing, but the new A-Tips are rather long and pointy. In order for them to fit my mag length (MDT binder mags, 2.890" max), it creates a huge jump to the lands (0.074" jump with comfortable feeding room in mag). My rifle likes them seated closer. I know I can get a mag from MDT without the binder, but the sled is cheaper. I'm not shooting these under a certain distance anyway. What are you shooting
Nevermind, I found it. I'll give him props for a fast response, but dern they are expensive. $53 on Midway (where they directed me). I can buy the longer MDT mag for that.Bob sled has an AICS version
