I nominate this thread for the stupidest thing I've seen in at least a month.
Actually, I only opened it because I thought some Premium Member here on SH was going to bitch about not getting a refund for this coming Thursday's scheduled maintenance downtime.

Then I find it's just another scammer... er spammer. Er. Whatever. Douche.

So, circling back. Do premium members get a discount for Thursday's outage ;-) Asking for a friend.

You can only file for a refund on the site, during the specified down time. If you can not access the site during down time, then you are shit out of luck.

Premium members are actually paying for the outage. Without them there wouldn't be any upgrades, fixes, or required maintenance being done.

So ACTUALLY they are getting what they paid for.
 
If you have Direct TV or Dish and you lose service, you can get a credit. For the people here that pay a monthly fee do they get a credit when this site is shut down? How do you apply for it?

To quote one of the more infamous on here, who may or may not be a Federal Agent skilled in the arts of infiltrating and gathering information and in the market for a U-Boat, "Go be poor somewhere else."
