Sitka pissed off Euro optic

No, your just clueless
Do you own a i-phone? A Samsung? What make is your TV? Who provides your cell service? Which car do you drive? Where are your clothes made? Which grocery store do you shop at? Do you have a Costco or Sam’s Club membership? You’re the clueless one if you think that virtue signaling your personal boycott of Yeti makes you a patriot… twit…

Whatever. If you want to be willfully blind to what Yeti is doing with regards to DEI, slap another stupid gay Yeti sticker on your truck. The rest of us will vote with our dollars.
Got this for you too…

Ok tuff guy
I just avoid companies that are anti 2A when there are plenty other choices especially in the cooler world ( I went with Cordova)

But anyways I use patriot mobile

Toyota and Honda as they are all made here and an old 12v Cummins https://www.thecarconnection.com/news/1143562_most-american-made-car-brand-tesla-honda-dominate-top-20-list?utm_source=TCC+-+Daily+Headlines&utm_campaign=3d831c3711-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2024_06_19_04_05&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_d55bbd391e-3d831c3711-[LIST_EMAIL_ID]

Look up Kroger (Fred Meyer), Honda and Toyota, and Samsung. Where do you buy your gas? Chevron? Sinclair? Conoco? The point is they are all Commie schills…. But, I agree, you avoiding Yeti makes you the love child of George Washington and John Wayne - tough guy. Fight me…

Ok where? We are both in the PNW
You are tough… 😘 Who administers your 401k? What stocks are in it? You’re fooling yourself if you think your “stand” on Yeti means 💩. Ok, I’ve done enough to help educate my lessers. If you still wanna fight, I’ll meet you by the monkey bars after 5th period…🤣

Deal. Just choose the best out of the available options is all I’m saying ..BTW Cordova is way better than yeti

Mil-surp for the win...

If it was good enough to let me suffer on stupid deployments, good enough to let me suffer when it's my choice of when and where too...

Ok, it's just because I am a poor....
I love me some mil-surp poly-pro's with the M-65 with liner and matching Gore-tex outers on top.

I'm not a poor, I'm just too fucking cheap to spend several hundred $$ on a jacket when I can get equivalent-isb for 1/4th the price.

Maybe one day I'll get some Kuiu stuff, but today ain't that day.

Any recommendations for temps around 5⁰F and with enough fog that covers everything in over a half inch of hoar frost? I only lasted 3 hours in that this morning before being completely numb. If the high price stuff can keep a guy warm in that, I may consider

Edit: and also allow you to move. Felt like I needed to look like the kid from A Christmas Story today to stay warm.

Raise your hand if you didn't know EuroOptic sold clothing.
I really can't praise EuroOptic enough. They've always done right by me so consider my hand raised in knowing that they sold clothing. Full disclosure though, I'm about a 2 hour drive or so from them too so I may be biased but yeah, EuroOptic rocks my socks and any pilgrimage trips I make over there end up being tragedies because I blow my budget every time because of all the cool shit they sell.

I spent maybe 5 1/2 hours on their site yesterday almost buying a scope. Each time getting closer and closer, right up to the point of starting to put my CC numbers in. Exhilarating. :D

I did take advantage of the Sitka sale early on, in part because I've always been curious about their products. Figured this may be my best chance to try some and find out. That was a many hours thing as well, just didn't think there was anything there I needed or would work for me. But like normal persistence won out of over common sense and good judgement. It's very nice, seems to be made well enough, works well enough, I wore it several times hunting last week. But even at the huge discount I can't really say it was worth the money, especially when what I was using in its place worked just as well at 1/8 the price.
So did you buy the scope or not? Joking aside, I still would like to know what the story is between EuroOptic & Stika because there absolutely was a falling out there this year. That said- Stitka makes damned good gear (in my opinion). I bought a set of pants from them about 5 years ago and they're easily the best set of hunting pants I ever owned. But yeah- there's almost certainly a story between EuroOptic & Stika but only have praise for both of them.

I drink black rifle coffee from my yeti mug while I warm myself with sitka when looking for deer through my Nikko Sterling-scoped savage.

[/Sarcasm]
That's all I drink as well (black coffee that is). This next part is super awkward as an exchange between dude to dude- but I don't recall seeing an update since you shared it in the hot wife/girlfriend thread- how's the hair treating you my man?

Good for you- I got out right around the time when Obama took the reigns as 'Commander in Chief' (to be fair, shit wasn't "right" even before then) but even if you've been sticking it out, let's not make a mockery over the "patriot" terminology either. Not trying to be a jackass either- I realized if I 'hung in there' I'd be able to fully retire with 20 years earlier the year, but I just ran out of the proverbial "juice" to keep it up personally.

So did you buy the scope or not?

No, but I should have, because a day or two later I bought a different one for $700 more.

The real kick in the pants was, I need to order new scope rings, and I wanted to buy the ones that I usually get, middle of the road decent quality always been happy with them, but my usual sources didn’t have them. So I ended up buying something else for about $70 more , figured hey why not try new things.

The next day I happen to be back on the Europtics Site and see that they have the rings I wanted in stock. Sure, sure… Why would would a guy think to look at the place he just bought the scope from, that’s an absurd idea! I’m constantly inventing new ways to waste time and money.

Oh yeah? So's your mom... juvenile virtue signaling putz... You think anyone really cares if you buy Yeti? They sure don't. You've missed the entire point. Let me spell it out for you. There are fundamentally zero places you can spend your money that it won't support something you don't agree with. But please, don't bother to answer any of the terribly inconvenient questions I posed.

You guys bickering like little girls should start your own thread so you can duke it out.

Everyone loves a good chick fight…
