This is a postal match, where you shoot the targets I send you on your home range, then send them in to be scored.

Participating in this match also helps raise money for AmericanSnipers.org. In three years of contributing part of the entry fee to AmericanSnipers.org, we have raised over $7000 which has been used to buy gear for our soldiers in harm’s way!

DEADLINES

I have added an entry POSTMARK DEADLINE so there is an actual cutoff so I don't have people sending entries with 5 days left. With the deadline where it is, someone entering at the deadline will still have a minimum of 2 weekends to shoot. This means your entry needs to be POSTMARKED by the date listed to be entered in the current match.

Well, like I said, I will have my in-laws shooting with us this time around. I also have a new technician working for me, and he is an avid hunter and shooter. I have the bait out there for him, I will see if he bites!!

Other than that, it will be the same family bunch and a friend or two that will be shooting. Hopefully I will get some sort of fundage from them when they shoot. It is getting to be painful in the wallet, but snaggin a prize sure makes it all worth it!!

Scott,

Yep, aggs after winter, group agg is average. Only shooters that shoot all 4 matches get listed in the agg.

I am still JB1000BR...just haven't had a chance to shoot in a while...too busy running it

Actually, waiting on a new build...should be able to shoot in the spring

Welcome aboard!! You are going to just love this shoot. It is alot of fun, and you will learn alot about yourself, and your shooting. Don't worry about the score, as these are only lottery tickets. I shot a flat out big'ol "ZERO" score on my rimfire target and lived to tell about it. So no worries!!

Well, there is a HUGE difference in centerfire targets with my former Savage 10FPLE vs. the rimfire targets with my boys Mossberg Plinkster .22s. I love and miss my Savage dearly, and I basically HATE the Mossbergs, but it is the only .22 that we had to shoot.

My in-laws are here from Texas, and he brought a sweet Marlin Model 25 for us to shoot. Soooo, guess what we are gonna be Smackin the Smileys with?? LOL... you guessed it!!

I am still shooting the Savage that did that target, but we haven't played with any loads long enough to get close to it. I have resorted to shooting my vanishing boxes of FGMM. And they just don't have the same results from that rifle. Much to my dismay.

I haven't shot anything remotely close to that target since. But that don't mean I am giving up for sure!! Besides, it gives everyone something to shoot at!!

Yes. My whole family gets involved now, as well as some friends. Anyone that shoots a target can enter the competition. However, only 1 target per class per person can be entered as a lottery ticket.

JLaw, yes, that is fine, but if I don't have an address associated with a name/handle,there is no chance at a prize. I don't have time to chase down addresses for folks that have not actually entered to send them prizes. So if you send in a target and were not the one to enter, make it obvious and put your address and name/handle on the target somewhere.

Thanks jb1000br...I sent for 2 targets of each a week or so ago and going to let a buddy use 1 of each. I'll make sure his name and address are on both of the targets. Hope weather holds out. Never know about mid Mo this time of year. Was 68 degrees about a week ago then 25 the next morning.

Man, what a nice day!! We got as many of us out there today as we could. For the most part, it was a really good day shooting. We had a old/new shooter out with us, Kevin Douglas. He is one of my technicians at the hospital.

One of the bright spots in shooting today, was my 11 year old. While he didn't hit every single part of the target, he absolultely WORE OUT the 3-shot group!! Just guessing, I believe it to be around .5MOA!! I was very impressed, and I am glad I did as good on my 3-shot group as I did... otherwise, I would never hear the end of it.

My wife got out there with us and shot today too. SHe is a trooper, as I know she was hurting pretty bad. She shot the best 3-shot group of her life today, and I think it is just under .5MOA!! So all in all, we had us a very good outing!!
