There were 4 of them, all Savage 10FP .260 2001. At Whittington in 2002, my Savage was ontarget at 1KM.
The original barrels were Savage 24" factory tubes. Mine has had a 28" Lothar-Walther LW-50 Stainless barrel since 2003.
I don't know what happened to the other 3.
Mine had the McM A3 Tactical with steel reinforced forend, and was taken back to do beautiful factory pillar bedding. As a surprise, Kelly McMillan had given the stock a flat ghost grey finish.
Later, Dan at Darkeagle Custom gave the receiver a matching silver/grey Cerrakote finish.
I have it to this day, and shoot it a bit several times each year.
Still drives tacks. Love that rifle, the only custom I've ever owned.
