Triple Aught Design is privileged to be in Kingsville, Texas supporting our friends at Rifles Only for the Sniper's Hide Cup 2011. We're late to make mention of our presence, but the excitement of the events has kept us quite far from our computers. We're sure you all understand.

It's hot and humid down here, but we enjoyed the thunder of Barrett's M107 50 cal - we were even allowed to take a turn - and their MRAD in .338 Lapua Magnum for Demo Day. FNH USA brought their SPR, FNAR and SCAR 17, as well.

This grueling three day competition has already included high-angle shooting from a moving helicopter, numerous stress fire stages, and many other challenging events, especially with the high winds of the Lone Star State.

It was awesome to have TAD on hand at the match, thanks to Rocky, and Brett for spending the weekend.

Rocky and Brett came out to represent TAD, and ended up wishing they'd shot the match. You can do both guys, next time bring guns with you too.

It was great to meet you both. I really enjoyed looking at your gear first hand. It's clear that you guys really like your company and your knowledge of your gear and why it's built like it is is very evident in a conversation with you.

Hey guys - the pleasure was all ours, really. We had an amazing time. Great group of guys. I was thoroughly impressed with the camaraderie, as well as the talent. I mean, aside from the fact that I could have smoked you all in the pistol events, but I didn't want anyone to go home crying

I've already got Brett getting us geared up for the NCPPRC Rifle Challenge and the Fall Bash.

Now start helping me build my own so I can compete, too!
