What a fun class you guys rocked it, maybe not as much as @Stache he took it to another level.

the final Eval was textbook you guys all stepped up and hit a home run

Press Break Freeze

I think 3 days was best for the course, that extra time to work through things was helpful. Four days would've probably been better.

One thing I I would like to learn more about is working on sighting, ranging and shooting unknown distances like in NRL Hunter.

If my rifle and scope wouldn't have taken a shit on me during the class and I had things more prepped in advance, I think it would've gone smoother on my end.

For future folks looking to attend: prepare your hand loads or reloads you want to use with your rifle in advance and bring ~230 rounds. The dope and the data is pretty much the most relevant reloading information you will ever get.

I'm going to get a cheap frame for the cert and the dollar I got from Marc to remember not to slap the trigger 😅.
I should have written FREEZE on that dollar we got from Frank. LOL
Thanks for a great time. Very pleased that you got it all right in the end, when it counted. You are an excellent shot and we just needed to clean up that small blemish. - Taylor

Frank, Marc, my class mates and the fantastic guys (and one young lady) who volunteered at Gopher.
I thank you for a first rate experience across the board.

As a total newbie, I had no idea what to expect from this course. Going in I was worried that I needed to learn so much that I would not be able to keep up, be a drag on the class or some how be "that guy"! And, maybe I was and don't know it? But even if I was "that guy" at times, I was never made to feel that way. We had so much to do on Day 2 but the logistics ran really smoothly thanks to Pete, Chuck, Eric and Matt. Shout out to Matt, especially for keeping us all safe on the range ( I mean keeping all you guys safe from me!!).
Frank and Marc's assessment and team teaching is amazing. Your experience teaching together shows. Yes, it is like drinking from a fire hose when your starting from square one. "Press, Break, Freeze"!! See, Marc. I was listening. And "WTF" for you, Frank. And Frank, you are a gifted spotter, your like the "spotting scope whisperer" or something, how the hell do you see all that and make those calls through a mere spotting scope!!??

It was quite a weekend, I worked hard and wore myself out. Like learning anything new, I had some highs and some lows. I made new friends, I got new stories to tell and i learned more about shooting fundamentals in one weekend than i had in the previous 61 years of life.
In the end, and to paraphrase Marc's words, I did NOT let that Bitch-ass rifle own me, at least not by the end of day three!

Long and short, I'm hooked. See you guys next year....
