By the time the votes are counted out west here, the decisions have all been made by the frenchies, delusional down easters, and Toronto communists. If carney wins, the snow beaner economy will collapse. The government will throw a bunch of $$$ to the left and then bend us all over for a non-consensual starfish reaming.

Well, I'm not really sure what to say here. I've been to the rallies, even took (sp?) my MIL to the last one that was here about 2 weeks ago. She'd never actually seen one before, and was quite impressed. She was less than 20 feet from Pierre when he was speaking, and she couldn't believe how fired up the crowd was.

There were (some thousand) people in that standing-room-only venue, and all of the logical, realistic, and responsible things that he was saying were simply "honest and decent" both in stance and objective.

The media though, they downplay the even on the corner of the 18th page, and make comments about "how Pierre isn't 'this' or doesn't do 'that'" while they play their Crackpot on the front page, and "oh how wonderful he is, and butterflies 'n unicorns..."

So, while I personally don't know what the outcome of this latest Federal Ballot is going to be, I can actually tell you what a HELL of a lot of Canadians WANT it to be. And it's not what the media is telling the country.

But that media is being paid by the gov't at hand, to tell you what the gov't at hand want you to think.

One of the first things the Conservatives want to do, is abolish the cbc.
