SO CAL 1000 YARD MATCH Results 1-31-2010

SO CAL 1000 YARD MATCH SUNDAY <span style="color: #FF0000">1-31-2010</span> at DESERT MARKSMAN RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB near Palmdale ca.


This will be a prone paper match at 1000 yards off bi pod or bags. Bring 50 rounds 20 shots for record + sighters

This is an individual match with 3 classes 22-308 cal, Magnum-416. and 50 cal.

Certificates & prizes will given for 1st - 3rd in all 3 classes
So start the year off right and come shoot entry fee is 25.00 day of the match.I expect the match to fill up early so get your name in soon.

How are the roads out to the 1000 yard range? I drive a toyota sedan.

No 4x needed some of the shooters drive Honda civic no problem

Devin and I should be there unless its a washout

I noticed on my way into work this morning there is still snow on that mtn range - don't know if its as low as the range - also pouring the rain there now - unless it dries up alot between now and Sunday that road will be a mess, especially up to the 1K line

The match is a GO.I was at the range today for some repairs to the pits, and to survey the road situation.The road is passable by 2 wheel drive car and we are looking at clear skies and 55 degrees for match day. So bring you rifle and lunch it will be a great time thanks alpine

what about all the pictures???
sure had a real fun time shooting at a 1000 yards was the 2nd time with the new 6.5x47L and 4 total but randall was on fire charles was doing real well. thanks to all that put it on hope to see all at next shoot.

Gary shot a perfect 200 5x one time. in the Magnum Class
But I do belive 13x,s is a tie for the most we have had.

I shot a rem 700 that I trued and chambered in 243.
107 smk's over 4831 at about 2960fps.

Range membership should not take more than 10 days by mail or you can join the day of the match with Jackie at the gate.
