I believe we have about a year before things really start to heat up. After those elected take office in this next election we will see widespread anti gun legislation. The political machine trying to disarm, and enslave, us will use voter fraud, voting machine tampering and criminal activity to ensure there is a widespread blue wave this next election. They have been perfecting it since Obama got elected. I believe this is why they are so upset at Trump, they believed they had done enough to ensure Hillary would win. The next election they will go far beyond what they think they will need to ensure a victory.

States are posturing by passing laws nullifying the electoral college as well as giving their electoral college points to the popular vote winner. If their candidate wins the popular vote but not electoral college they will protest. If their candidate wins the electoral college but not the popular vote they will abide by the electoral college win. Some states have said Trump will not be on their state ballot and by the time it is proven illegal their candidate will be in office already.

None of this has even been looked at, much less actually investigated by the government. The hypocrisy on display is astounding, and far beyond some novelist’s fantasy. You can say, “It’s just politics”, but this level of lying, cheating, and dirty dealing by the Democrats is beyond toleration.

That might have been an appropriate question for someone in the Trump adminstration to ask prior to the July 25th phone call with Ukraine. But we are well past that particular inflection point.

If Rudy has such compelling evidence, why hold on to it while impeachment proceedings continue? Wouldn't it be best to push evidence into the light of day while there is still a chance that the Bidens could be forced to testify? Wouldn't it be best to get this evidence in front of the American people, since this impeachment trial is inherently a political process?

rudy was advised of the biden/burisma problem in march and sent the story to the media, who ignored it.
a couple weeks after this, in april, biden declared.
the dirt was uncovered before biden decided to run.

did he run for protection?

Time is always your friend. That door swings both ways for both sides. It best to get the bidens and everyone else on record under oath BEFORE you let everyone know what you know. They might openly commit perjury if you get lucky. If they already know what you have; they now have time to get THEIR narrative straight.

Biden is his own worst enemy. He needed absolutely no help in self-destructing, and I firmly believe there are better battles to fight (against both internal and external enemies). This is a waste of time and energy, and both are running short as the election gets closer.

No. A perjury trap is when you try to get someone talking knowing that they will certainly at some point make a mis-statement or contradict themselves. With the intent of charging them with perjury when it happens. Like they did to Flynn (?).

Semantics? Not really. I simply meant its in Trumps best interest to let them hang themselves rather than show your hand up front and allow then to get their story straight. If they happen to perjur themselves then great. Charge them with it.

Although in the Flynn case it sounds like the perjury trap was a frame job by changing his 302's from decades ago making it look like he lied and convinced him to plead guilty. If I remember correctly, it was his attorney who later pulled the ORIGINAL 302's himself rather then relying on the altered 302s the DOJ was providing upon subpena. Something like that.

And with the current structure of the impeachment trial, when exactly do we expect any Democrat to say something on the floor of the House or Senate that will later be contradicted by Rudy' magical trove of evidence?

I firmly believe that the Bidens are corrupt as it gets, and that there is a long line of other establishment politicians on both sides of the aisle that play similar games for the purpose of lining pockets. I don't believe that there is some window that will pop open 2-3 weeks from now that with give Team Trump more leverage than they would have by deploying it now. In fact, dropping irrefutable evidence of Biden malfeasance right now - or two weeks ago, or two months ago - would do a wonderful job of taking air away from the impeachment narrative.

In two or three weeks, we may not be talking about impeachment or the Bidens any more; it'll be time for State of the Union, and there is coronavirus, and whatever the latest scandal will be with the British royals, and Trump will be promising for the 37th time that we're "really close" on a trade deal with China, and Boeing will have found another problem with the 737 Max. And there will be Rudy, promising that he's got something "really big", but we just need to wait until the time is right.

You know, when that guy first stepped onto the campaign stage, the wife and I said "WTF??". We voted for him, because the other one was a no-go for us. I really do feel he has the American People's concerns at heart and what this country is supposed to be about and represent. He has put up with a lot of shit and he still keeps coming back for more. He sure as hell isn't perfect and he needs to STFU sometimes, but I'll take his shit any day. His attorneys, I think, are doing a great job and I hope next week, they will burn the dims house down! Shitty Shifts eyes are starting to bug-out already and Jr. Nads was squirming around in his padded chair today! Mac(y)

Yes, why yes he did.

And the democrats are covering for him as they likely believe he is the only canidate that can beat Drumpf.

The 2nd aspect of this is the democrats are trying to out flank:

-foreign countries meddling in US elections for which there are many.

-investigating presidential opponents/canidates.

-the investigations are sufficiently predicated?

They accuse orange-man of basically the very thing they actually did. So that as more comes out about their shenanigans during the Drumpf campaign they can say he did the same thing.

See both sides do it. If Drumpf is aquitted then by proxy so are the democrats. It was all proper and justified. See.
