In my predominently conservative town it has been a reserved dignified calm. Everyone at my HEB store seems happier, friendlier, everythings a light hearted joke, controlled relief and jubilation.

Some guy in a brodozer in front of me at the diesel pumps (I too drive a brodozer) had a giant Trump flag in the bed of his truck. I nodded in approval. He nodded back. We had each other's back.

Monday I go to the range.

I like what Trump is saying about dismantling the swamp. But, he needs to keep his mouth shut and quit skylining himself/his plans. Otherwise, there's a really good chance he'll never see 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue again.

Everyone loves JD Vance right now. But, if Trump gets popped and Vance ascends to the Captains chair, it'll be interesting to see if the swamp can get to him successfully. I'm not completely convinced that he wouldn't fold. The swamp can be pretty "convincing".

Im honestly gonna say that I think we are going to see a slow flip in the media. Two reasons, repubs won the popular vote and they are bleeding money.

Itll start with some big name stars/reporters "not getting their contract renewed". Itll be a slow process, but within 2 years not only will it be neutral, but slightly right leaning.

They will start having left programs, right programs, and neutral programs. They know when baby boomers are dead, they are dead. The only thing keeping them afloat right now, is sports.

I'm happy it's over.
Maybe the media will take a break from the non-stop election crap. To me it feels like it's been non-stop since the end of 2015 preparing for the 2016 election.
Of course now its going to be non-stop criticism of DJT and lots of angst wondering and pondering who the left will run in 2028.

I'm just glad it's over, and pleased that Harris conceded and there will be a peaceful transition of power. We need one election cycle "off" from the Stop-The-Steal craziness that we've been through related to the 2020 election. Maybe actually winning, will calm Trump down and focus him on "governing" instead of "whining".

Arizona has a ridiculous law that says absentee ballot can be hand delivered, in paper envelopes that require signature matching, all the way up until the polls close. They get hundreds of thousands. Takes forever to count them and has too much opportunity for fraud. Florida doesn't mess with that shit.

Pennsylvania is almost as bad. There absentee ballot can't be counted until polls close. Usually takes a few days. Election was so lopsided this time that the box trucks of absentee ballot wouldn't have made any difference, so they just called it for Trump. In my red states, absentee ballot are due early and counted as they arrive. We know the results within an hour or two of polls closing.

Sanctuary places are going to get flooded with illegals trying to avoid deportation. The illegals are going to flee any place that will assist with their deportation. Maybe the idiots in these places will finally wake up because they're going to get swamped like nothing anyone has seen yet. And Trump is going to deny them any kind of aid.

The problem for the swamp is that they would have to take out or turn:

Vance: Don Jr. was instrumental in convincing his dad to select Vance for VP. Trump was very apprehensive about it until the VP debate. Dn Jr. said if you do a really amazing job for his dad, you’re lucky to get a “6”. Don Jr. saw his phone blow-up with 6 missed calls from his dad, and a text that said: “10” after Vance’s performance. They are really happy with Vance.

Elon Musk: Not much they can do against Elon at this point. He has more power across more industries than any tech billionaire in history. Imagine Tony Stark with control over the biggest social media platform/information distribution.

RFK Jr.: If they did something to Bobby Jr., it would be so blatant and turn even more of the normal working people in the Democrat base to the Trump movement. It was already bad enough that Biden denied his Secret Service protection. That was unimaginable that they did that, even took me off-guard.

Tulsi Gabbard: She’s part of the Trump transition team and said after Trump didn’t sleep, they went straight into building the cabinet and transition meetings out of campaign mode.

Vivek: I just saw a really long speech Vivek gave before an audience about the future, and that guy is firing on all cylinders for the Trump train.

It’s like a Hydra and you can’t even combat it without showing yourself.

A swamplord will have to expose themselves and risk the rest of their cabal for PID and hunting down like dogs.

With Elon cutting the administrative state and slashing wasteful spending on unconstitutional agencies, and Trump placing tariffs on countries who can’t survive without their exports to the US, we can actually start paying off the debt and not running deficits.

Our annual GDP is approaching $30 trillion, and under Trump economic moves, we should pass through that.

The US 250yr anniversary celebration and World Fair will generate a new era of Americana, with millions of visitors from around the US and the world.

As energy costs drop, industries will have more capital for investing in growth, hiring, wage increases, and sales.

I was in my local HEB Sat. and it was packed, with Americans, aka white people.

Before, there was close to a 50/50 ratio of white / 'immigrants' with Lupe bringing the whole family to clog the isles.
