Soft Cheek Weld Tape/Riser?

Hey guys, I want a PRS for my AR10, but im tight on funds right now... So... I've seen guys use some soft sticky or velcro type tape stuff that can help raise your cheek weld up a bit. Does anyone know where to get the stuff? It would need to be maybe at least an inch wide and soft so it doesnt bother my cheek. Thanks for the help.

I don't remember what brand it was but I know that Sportsman's Warehouse sell some stick on rubber cheek pieces.

You can use "Camo Form" protective camoflauge wrap. It sticks to itself and can be reused. Find a piece of thin foam and then wrap the tape around.

get some of that green foamy stuff everybody makes p$$y pads out of on ther rucks and 100 mile an hour tape that sheet on yer comb for a lil lift until you can buy a stock pack. in any case the stiffer the better the repeatability will be for quick sight picture.

There is always more than one way to skin a cat. I have used:

1) Old mousepads/tape;

2) closed-cell foam block cut to fit/tape; and

3) Stick-on recoil pads (Pachmyer, Kick Eez, numerous companies make these...I got my last one at a gun show for like $5...MidwayUSA sells them also and they are around $12, but very nice, cushiony synthetic that hold up well with regular use).

Get a Eagle stock pad and cover it with your ol lady's panties. The other option is to start roughing up your face with some 150 grit so you toughen up a bit, thicken your skin so to speak.

I just taped some foam onto the stock of my new .308 AR with my proper eye relief. Then I had to cut it back far enough that it is almost useless to give the charging handle enough room. Make sure you check it before saying all is good. I am probably just gonna try and find a lower mount.

2" Velcro with adhesive back, can be stacked multi-layer, on the last one cut up a mouse pad and gluded on

I go to Wallyworld's crafts department and buy peel and stick stickyback Foamies neoprene craft foam in 8.5"x11" sheets. Pretty much any color available. Runs about a buck per. Supposed to be available in 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm thicknesses; but mostly all I can find is 2mm. Can be layered up.
