You gotta help me with my eyeballs - why does it look like the top half on the ring set laying down is 30mm and not 34? It lines up on the outside but on both sides it indents into the diameter on the inside.

Not mine but most of my rings are like that.. gotta remember they’re will be a small gap between the halves...

That’s how they’re designed because they don’t fit all the way around the scope. There is a small gap, maybe 1/8th inch each side, when they’re mounted in the scope.

They’re 34mm, a 30mm wouldn’t fit on the vortex.
