****SOLD****
Would now be open for trades on a good PVS-14, a Nightforce ATACR 1-8, or US Optics B10 with cash on either end depending.
First, the specs:
Was originally spec'd as a "Premier Tactical Rifle" on RWS's website
ARC Mausingfield action (cerakoted FDE)
Proof 16.5" Carbon Fiber barrel (847rounds)
Timney Calvin Elite 2-stage with flat trigger
AAC 51t flash hider
LRI bolt knob
I have a RW Snyder-built Mausingfield rifle for sale. It was originally built by RW Snyder with a Bartlein 1:10 twist 20" barrel chambered in 308. I have since switched to a 16.5" Proof. Mikael at S&S Precision in Denton, TX did the rebarrel. I have the original barrel to go along. The 20" barrel has a few marks in the cerakote from removing it and attempting to get the muzzle brake off, but it still has plenty of life left in it. It has no more than 1,200 rounds through it.
The pics show a green fore end, but I found the matching original so that's what will ship with it.
Condition: the rifle has exterior marks in the cerakoat around the magwell and benind the ejection port from brass striking it. Mechanically, it is superb. The smoothest action I've felt to date.
This rifle shoots exceedingly well with both barrels. The ONLY reason I'm selling is because I've been shooting an AI AX308 for the last 6 months and need to pay taxes.
To reiterate, included with this sale is:
-Action w/proof barrel installed by S&S Precision
-20" bartlein barrel: chambered, shouldered, spiral fluted, and cerakoated by RW Snyder
-One AI 5 round mag
-LRI and original bolt knob
Only looking for$2,700 $2,500 $2,000 (firm) for all. The original rifle cost around $5,200 and that was without the proof barrel.
I'm hoping to sell this local (DFW area of TX), but will ship on buyer's dime. I'm heavily discounting this barreled action due to the marks on the original barrel. This is a fantastic deal for an excellent, lightweight precision rifle.
Feel free to PM or email with any questions. I can take more specific pics for legitimately interested buyers.
Unfortunately, I can't do any trades this time around. Uncle Sam gets these funds.
