What is max range on this?

Here is a photo of the specs from the manual. Spec is 2500m, I have ranged out to about 2300-2400 with no problem.

I will add that this range finder does really well in tight spots where you have to range thru openings in trees and such.

Probably further than you will ever need.
+/- 2,500 meters is 2,750 yards.

I have not used this with nods. I am not familiar with what "internal flashback" is. The 10, like the 15, are build to a better spec than the original terrapin. I view them in different leagues.
