*SOLD!*

I hate to do this, but funds are needed elsewhere, so some things gotta go!

This is a gorgeous Winchester 9422M in .22WMR. wood is nicely figured, checkering is sharp, and the bluing is deep and even. The prior owner did use this from time to time, so it does have some tiny handling marks, but I’d rate it at 98%. Action is buttery smooth, and the trigger has a crisp break. No box or papers, just the rifle in a soft padded rifle case.

Looking for $850 FTF in the east Phoenix, AZ area, or $875 shipped if your FFL accepts from an individual. If I need to ship from my dealer, add $40 to the price. No trades at this time please, I need to bring in some funds. Any questions, just ask. Thanks!

It’s a desirable gun but not a desirable price. That will be my interpretation. I have one here, love it.

$850 is a great price for as nice as this one is. Mine is nice, but Basher’s is really nice.
I wouldn’t let mine go for what he’s asking.

Someone’s gonna get a really nice rifle, good luck with the sale’

I’m sure I’ll regret it later, but I’m also sure I can track another down eventually.

And yes, everybody I’ve spoken to via PM on a few other forums has told me I should be asking at least $1000 for this. I may just have to follow that advice if I’m able to source the needed funds some other way. While not NIB or a collector’s quality rifle, it’s in damn fine condition, and at a steal of a price!

Trades added, price is firm. I’ll be taking it to the range tomorrow and will try to post some groups, but I’ll be on a short time limit and need to sight in my AI after a barrel change. Stay tuned, though!

Sorry without a box you are unlikely to get $1000. Used without a box, in that config they go for 800-900. With box and as new 1000-1100, with box, as new and pistol grip $1200. I have many and love em ....

So looks like I’m in the right range either way as currently priced. :)

ETA:
I’ll give this until Sunday evening before I pull it, and honestly, maybe not even that long. I took it out this morning and had an absolute blast! The irons aren’t the most precise aiming tools out there, but at 50y I was able to manage about 2” groups off a bench (front rest, but no rear bag). I never did sight it in, so with 30gr HV stuff it was about 2” high, but with some CCI 40gr JSP it was only about 0.5” low at 50y, and was just under 2”. Using something like a Leupold 3-9x EFR would shrink that right down, I’m sure. Or maybe a tang sight (not sure I want to D&T it though)... Hmmm...

After sighting in my AI and an AR, it was downright a joy to shoot! I’d forgotten how much fun this thing is!

So, if no solid buyer steps forward or I’m unable to strike a deal to my liking before tomorrow evening (or sooner!), I’ll find something else to sell to raise the funds I need. This thing really is buttery smooth and a hoot to shoot!
