It shoots stupid soft and for me at least points better than the benelli. Personally 3" 28 to me is what 20ga is for. I do shoot a ton of 3" 20ga bismuth 3s late season for geese and ducks. Since I went to bismuth I haven't touched a 12 for anything other than registered targets.
