Have to stop for some cash in Lexington first……Say hello to Captain Parker!

Most remove it so it doesn't slam the scope back and break the reticle. I don't remove mine, I just slide it back and have it loose. Just have to return the scope to battery each shot
Interesting, I have a salty 10 power without the micrometer turrets and was always under the impression that the
spring setup was to keep the reticle from breaking.

If there is no spring, the scope stays in the same place it was when the trigger is pulled, the gun slides rear under the recoil. There's nothing that can happen to the reticle with no spring. If there's a spring, the scope is pulled back to hit the stop after the gun already moves to the rear. The spring returns the scope to "battery".

Your setup looks like a 52. No recoil so it literally doesn't matter on a 22lr

No that is not my setup it is a pic on the internet, mine is much shorter and does not have the micrometer turrets.
It was on a 222 but now its not being used.

Have a large female in my pond, she was crossing the road at a sharp curve to lay eggs. I tried to help her along
but she wasn't having any of it, jumping and snapping at me.
I’ve been wanting to see one of these guys on land since I learned my "how to pick up snapper" skills.

Met plenty of them on the road in my past life and best I could do was roll them back into the woods with my collapsible baton.

Problem was it was always the side of the highway they were coming from. It gave me enough time to get out of there but their dinosaur compass just turns em around to cross the highway again.

This guy was good size, it would suck to hit one of these turds.

So you Deffinitely need gloves but picking them up in this case was easy.

Just grip it at the back of the shell, I won’t use carapace and make you dumb fucks look it up, right where the rear legs root into the body and lift that fucker like cantilevering a scope on an AR.

No gloves his rear claws will rip you up. Even with half decent cowhide I could feels the claws wanting to get skin.

Carried him a good distance to some nearby water in the direction it was headed.

Fucker made shit smell like roses.
