So Sonya is murdered in her house for invoking the name of Jesus - shot in the face multiple times by a cop who was in her house illegally.
The tax payers get to pay $10 million because the city kept a phycological nut case Brady lost officer on the payroll .

Seem it would be cheaper and less deadly just to fire pieces of shit before they commit murder on camera ?

Good and bad in every line of work, unfortunately you cant always weed out the bad ones. Personally I'm more worried about the illegals/thugs murdering innocent people in this country every day.
Illegals and thugs don’t get qualified immunity.
How is this concept so hard to grasp by the backtheblue crowd I’ll never understand

This was a sport kill, plain and simple.

The outcome does nothing to establish a deterrent effect though.

We need to start having televised executions on Friday nights, every week for a year.

Read them off like this:

"This 15-year-old boy killed a former Afghan interpreter for US Special Forces who was working in DC as a ride-share driver. His life is now over."

"This fucked up cop killed a woman in her house who called him to investigate a prowler. His life is now over."

etc...etc...

So long as the consequences are misplaced, and standards and discipline are blocked from being carried out, we will only get more of this behavior.

Illegals and Thugs are the only ones that use qualified immunity- to avoid the consequences of their actions.

A police officer who conforms to the minimum standards and conducts himself appropriately can work for 40 years or more without violating our laws.

"Qualified immunity" should not have ever existed, and does not exist for any other occupation.

If this were true there wouldn't be cops in prison for things that happened on duty. I'm neither pro or anti police, I also don't believe all cops are like this. Like stated before you'll find bad eggs in every line of work.

$10 mil, but the lady is dead. Everyone I care about is worth a lot more than $10mil. $10 mil is like 5 McDonalds cheesburgers and maybe a week of Starbucks coffee.

Money means nothing, is that shitbag behind bars?
He is in jail- may be released soon because Illinois has a no bail law that they say has been violated, he has been charged with murder .

Did he go to jail?
He’s going to be released pre trial because of Illinois no bail law - he’s being charged with murder- but this is not the first time he’s done violence to a lady while wearing that monkey badge and he’s never been held to account before so it’s 50/50.

I mean she was a female ; she did evoke the name of Jesus and she is a tax peon so I don’t think the courts see killing them as a big deal the pigs sure don’t

Lol

No

In other lines of work people get fired disbarred uninsurable etc
And the nut cases are drawn to the line of work. Bullied or bully’s. 40 percent are known to beat their spouse and that’s just what’s reported

Il take the illegals and thugs. Can legally defend yourself against their aggressions.

Honest question for the LEOs here, should this assbag have caught charges?

Yea, this is bad. Most shootings people complain about here, they do so without all all the info and/or actual knowledge/experience in being in those situations. The OP is a prime example of really not remotely knowing wtf he’s talking about most of the time.

However, there are definitely some bad shoots and/or bad cops out there, even if in a very small minority (you hear about it a lot because its in the news and they don’t cover the 100’s of good deeds performed by LE everyday).

There’s really no reason to have been in this situation to begin with. And I can’t fathom how he felt like she was even a threat to throw the boiling water. She wasn’t acting aggressive and he’s the one that made her go get the water to begin with to “avoid a fire.”

Charges are absolutely justified here.

If I was in their chain of command, I would also have a serious talk with the other LEO there. He should have been attempting to deescalate and calm his partner down. It’s easy to get caught up in a moment (though this moment is ridiculous) and fellow LEOs should be aware and bring things back to reality when they see this. I have several times (though not even remotely close to something as ridiculous as this) when someone gets a bit caught up and carried away. Though it’s usually in situations where the force was justified, but now needs to calm down some.

This is similar to the Derek Chauvin incident. He was a POS for sitting on the guys neck with his knee for so long. But, he had several other LEOs with him and someone should have stepped in and had him get off the guy.

That hilarious you fucking dolt- don’t know what I’m talking about when I post video of an event where a pig kills a citizen. This one is bad - so you don’t give a fuck about the others , bet you love watching the ones where a group of your butt buddies beat up old ladies , and wait to shoot the wad until someone yells “stop resisting “
Fuck you

I’m glad at least you’d have a serious talk with them - would you say something like okay boys just beat your wives at home and please please stop killing old ladies on camera and then laughing about it , we need to keep up appearances

So was this guy not fired? He was arrested so Id assume he was. Can't speak as to the percentage that are wife beaters, i really have no fucking clue and I'd say you really don't either. I don't support cops like in the video, but I im not a cop hater either. I'm guessing this one will end in prison time for this officer.

Are you retarded.

Are you retarded. They get fired then rehired by some other agency.
They don’t face near the severity if any , of what the people who pay their salary face. Not monetarily. Not professionally. Not civilly. Not criminally.

Daniel shaver. That cop not only got off with no charges , they hired him back for a day so he could “medically retire”

Some do probably get off easy, plenty of other murderers that walk or get short sentences too. So what's your point, are we just not supposed to not have any law enforcement. You're a true retard if you believe that, take the good with the bad and punish the bad. I personally know of more doctors that's killed people by mistakes made, they aren't held accountable either.

Yes. Because there’s no middle ground. Between expecting the law enforcers to be held to the same standards as the people that pay their salary. And just letting them run wild with no repercussions

d. I personally know of more doctors that's killed people by mistakes made, they aren't held accountable either.
They become uninsurable. And unemployable.

You people really grasp at straws to avoid public servants having to live do by the same standards. They set for the tax slave

Not sure who you people are? I hold them to the same standards as anyone else. I don't defend all cops, but I support the ones that try to do right. I'd like to think there are more good ones than bads one.

“Good deeds”???!!!

Only in a society this shitty, would someone start with that bullshit in a thread like this. This woman was BUTCHERED in her own kitchen.

Is he on death row? ……

These are paid, trained, professionals. Doing your fucking job and not butchering innocent family members is not a “Good deed”. It the job they signed up for. YOU’RE NOT A HERO!

My best friend is a cop. THE example of a GREAT cop. I have trained with cops. The things that I have seen and heard…….

These are hiring, training, procedural and cultural problems. And they are ubiquitous. It’s a wonder this doesn’t happen more often. “Qualified immunity” is a huge contributor to the situation.

The psychopath female cop who put the person in the cruiser on the railroad tracks in Colorado, that was subsequently hit by a train, had failed at least TWO psych evals. She was hired by two agencies in spite of this. She was NOT hired at ONE agency because of this.

Now Trump wants to give cops MORE immunity. Utter insanity. What Trump should be pushing for is a complete overhaul of our policing system, better training and better funding. Only when we hold cops completely accountable and start treating them like highly trained professionals and expecting the same from them, will things get better. Along with this comes with higher standards and holding them completely accountable for their bad actions.

Save the “Good deeds” speech for Sunday’s pulpit…….

Don’t even get started on training them - before we made the decision to NOT train them and not let them use our indoor heated range for free - they were the worst shooters , absolute slobs - cups wrappers cigarette butts chew spit .
Also safety and gun handling sucked , only person to ever shoot a hole in the roof of the range .
Anyhow yes people especially other badge brigade members will grasp at straws and tell we have no idea what happened or how things work- when we have the video evidence. Fucking pathetic.

He shot a woman in the face in her own kitchen because she invoked the name of Jesus . And then laughed about it and didn’t get his med kit or attempt any aid because “I shot her in the face “ “hats a kill shot”

Reader's Digest version of ^^^^^^ . "It's just a few" so back the blue.

Let's look at this POS' history. Did he resign from another department because he was under investigation? How many complaints are in all of his records? Brady list?
Biggest question as always. How many of his coworkers knew he was a POS but.... Thin blue line gang
You do understand that when they resign from a department because of an investigation that they drop the investigation. Think about that. What crime will they stop investigating if you quit your job? Each and every one of the people involved in a situation like that knowingly allows a POS to continue being a cop.

So you agree that. At a minimum. Civil settlements come out of the police retirement funds
Absolutely, i don't wanna pay for there mistakes with my tax dollars. But we both know that's not gonna happen because no one would wanna take that job with that liability and mediocre salary. So the only real solution is to charge them criminally in these situations, which i think will happen here.

They should have to carry liability insurance like every other industry.
Makes them more likely to avoid being criminals. Gets the bad ones out permanently when they become uninsurable

For all the willfully stupid cunts -before he murdered Miss Massey he was fired from 6 fucking , 6 other departments.

6 departments in 4 years- that means every pig that hired or worked with him is guilty of criminal negligence at the very least .
Where these “good ones “ doing good deeds” in 6 fucking departments over the course of 4 years ?

Around these parts they are all proud of their "law of parties" when it comes to tacking on stuff to others.
Perhaps that should apply to the police. Your partner did it, you were there, you didn't stop it, you were a part of it, you get charged as well...

Hey if they do that for the Citizens, it's only fair.

Yes, I can't believe Trump is so stupid as to be pandering to that group in such an insane manner.

What idiot boot lickers and sycophants of the Uniform Hangers don't understand is that all these things actually make it way less safe for the police. It makes folks much more likely to decide there is no justice in the courts so you have to get justice in the streets.

poor salary? i do not know the amounts. but every cop's house i have ever seen is 20-40% bigger ,more elaborate, more land than what i bought 25yr ago making about 60K at the time. always been curious about that. figured they were and are mostly on the take. never seen a reason to doubt that. they all seem to drive the latest most expensive vehicles as well. just casual observations.
they do do a lot of great things though. saving lives by writing tickets for 55 over 45 on an open road saves many people and much suffering.
why should they be held to the same standards as a non pig citizen? they are paid to carry a gun and have power to arrest and subsequently ruin one's life when they frequently get it wrong. they should be held to very much higher standards of behavior than a regular tax payer. qualified immunity is just a license for the pigs to murder, rob, coerce, assault and frequently commit what would be called rape for any normal tax payer.
