Here are the finished pics of the full SRS Sniper Rifle Scabbard, system assembled. It shows the latest pack frame, and our Mission Pack-Trek on the back. This entire system is modular and can be assembled or modified in minutes.
I will let the pics speak for themselves, and per request, the size dimensions are included as well.

Damn Nice, & some good nylon mechanics there .
Looks like some nice details for the ( Integrated rigid plastic back-frame for taking on the extra large modular pack accessories . )
Although I (myself) really like the simplistic design of your, 'Scabbard Rifle Pack' as it stands.alone & It's really Nice and Clean & also looks have enough PALS webbing to handle some light-medium weight accessories .
Hows the feel of the heavy weight additions when fielding on the long walks ?

that looks awesome, but from a structural standpoint. I think you should seriously consider attaching the day pack to the 1604 FRAME itself, around the scabbard. it's putting a-lot of hurt on the scabbard which in turn will be torquing the rifle action / stock etc. not to mention the extra force put on the 1000D where the 38mm webbing is affixed from the frame, you can see it struggling.
There are the upper shoulder area frame wings with strap holes, i think you should rig something up there that will pull the pack into the FRAME not the rifle.

My 2c, other than that, kick arse man.

That's a very good observation. If you did that, you could draw the day pack up as tight to the frame as the rifle would allow, improving center of gravity. I like to get heavy things as close to my back as possible when I carry a load.

First off, I have to say I dug the scabbard bag stand alone. And I defiantly like were its heading. Great to see some other option to the eberlestocks.

PROS: I am all about the frame, Think some of the other bags out there could benefit from a frame. Frame is Efin key. Keeps shit square, and defiantly helps with a big bolt knob in your spine.

CON It appears that the bag itself attaches to the scabbard at the top. I could see this as a problem keeping the bag stable ie: flopping side to side, especially if the scabbard is empty.

Would love to do or see a direct comparison with some of the other products out there

I think that there is some of the heavy pack that is threw to the back-board frame to take some of the load off the Scabbard . It is on the bottom-end of the lift-web, in the Hip area . webbing looks to be going down to D-ring on the Attached pack . but I hear you on taking the Bering weight off the scabbard & sucking it in to more center of gravity.

Man I love what your doing . It looks to be coming along really well on the whole design. small design adjustments are always there in the beginning.
Hey Phil, just an observation & you can take it under advertisement but on the lower-end of lift webbing that that ends-up down on the Hip (body area) . The heavy D-ring .
Might try to use a (Round-Ring) instead of the D-ring for that connection spot . Articulating the movement with round-ring will smooth out all movements and angle of pull .

just an example but Articulated Harness/webbing Ring connection for angled movement and even load-bearing pull.

Thank you for the insight, and there are changes that will be addressed in this design.
I must say I am happy to hear it is well received, and hopefully it will fill in the gaps that have been unaddressed.
As soon as these have been ironed out, I will post more info. As far as dealers and such, that is being worked out as well.

That is a nice rig. How about building a low profile rifle bag, something along the lines of a lawn chair bag with a pocket on the side for a couple of magazines and a trauma kit. It would go with a Mission Go Bag (which is a great piece of kit) very well.

Sorry but I fall behind a few weeks now and then when I am directed by the state to go out to count squirrels. It looks practical and rugged.

I think infantrymen will like it as well, and not just the real world operators. LOL

As posted above, the frame is key to maintaining balance of weight between hips and shoulders without straining either too much. I really like the scabbard being in the center of the back and up fairly close, but the pack straps binding to the scabbard can cause too much strain on the shoulders and back. The upper body is either pulled backwards or people lean forward to compensate for this...both causing strain, and balance issues.

In the photos (great pics by the way) it appears that the top straps of the pack could go around the scabbard and attach to the frame, making the entire shebang sit high and tight, which would be my preference. I'd also have to strap it on and take it on the 10 mile loop near my house before I could speak with any authority about it, so this is just a quick comment since I really like every idea your company comes up with.

And I cannot do the loop today because it went to black flag at 1138...

Great input! I was thinking same thing, and will tweak design to make it work perfectly.
10 mile loop sounds interesting.
Did you ever recover your guns from the boating accident, or are they lost to history?
